On Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, Corinne Foxx, the eldest daughter of Jamie Foxx, disclosed on social media that her father had been hospitalized due to an undisclosed medical emergency. The 29-year-old shared a statement on behalf of the Foxx family on Wednesday night.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the statement began. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

TMZ reported that Jamie Foxx, was taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning, according to sources with direct knowledge of the situation. His condition was deemed serious enough that family members traveled to be with him. Foxx was last seen on the set of the highly anticipated Netflix movie, Back In Action, alongside Cameron Diaz.
The film marks Diaz’s return to the big screen since her role in the 2014 Annie remake, in which Foxx also starred, as per People Magazine. The actor has two daughters – Corinne, 29, with his ex, Connie Kline, and Anelise Bishop, 14, with his ex, Kristin Grannis.
