Wayne Brady and the unnamed male driver had a minor physical altercation when Brady tried to prevent the driver from fleeing the scene. The driver attempted to escape on foot upon hearing sirens.
After the altercation, the driver ran into a nearby neighborhood but was located and arrested 20 minutes later on charges including DUI, hit-and-run, and battery.

Brady’s spokesperson, Katie Schroeder, chose not to comment on the incident when contacted.
This hit-and-run occurred a few months after Brady publicly shared his pansexual identity in an interview with People magazine.
Authorities were not able to confirm whether the fight took place, but they did say that the suspect fled the scene on foot before being apprehended.
No injuries were initially reported.
