Jada Pinkett Smith says she knew she was pregnant within seconds of having sex with will Smith
In her most recent memoir, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed personal information about her life.
Jada, who is well known for her candor on the Red Table Talk show, goes even farther in “Worthy,” opening up about aspects of her life that she has never before addressed.
She describes a powerful intuition in one moving piece about the process of starting a family with Will Smith. Jada recalls clearly the instant after having a sexual encounter with her then-boyfriend that she discovered she was pregnant.
They had this epiphany in 1997 while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas. Soon after their close meeting, Jada felt her body change in a profound way.

When she told Will she was pregnant, she said she felt like a bank vault, according to her memoir.
“There’s a lock that looks like a big round steering wheel,” she recalled.
“When you turn it, it locks with a CLICK. That’s what it felt like in my womb.”
Will was taken aback by the declaration and told her to jump up and down or stand on her head.
He was apparently so amused by Jada thinking she was pregnant before ‘the little ones have even stopped swimming’ that he called a friend to laugh.
However, it was no laughing matter for her.
She says she cried ‘all night long’.
Lo and behold, she was actually right.
She performed multiple pregnancy tests two weeks later, and each one revealed she was pregnant.
The next year in July, they welcomed their first child, a son named Jaden.The surprising truth that she and Will have actually been apart for more than five years was recently revealed by her.
