Steven Tyler Faces Speech Difficulties from Severe Vocal Cord Damage
According to reports, the iconic vocalist for Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, is currently battling a serious vocal cord injury that has left him almost speechless.
Tyler’s vocal cords suffered significant damage and bleeding as a result of this sad incident, which happened last weekend during a concert in Long Island.
He was sent right away to Boston for an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist’s evaluation and received X-rays to determine the severity of the injuries, according to tmz. According to the reports, the scans showed extensive damage to Tyler’s vocal chords.
Currently suffering from a loss of voice, Steven Tyler can only croak out a few words when trying to speak. According to reports, given the severity of the harm, the frontman has been told to stop from singing for 30 days. This led to the postponement of the Aerosmith tour.

Despite these difficulties, Steven is adamant about making a strong comeback and promises to strike every note necessary for his legendary performances.
This has led Aerosmith to postpone their previously announced live performances in Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Raleigh, Washington, D.C., and Toronto until January and February of 2024. In a direct message to his followers on Instagram, Steven Tyler explained the reason for the postponement of his tour dates.
“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve. – Steven Tyler.”
