A recent lawsuit claims that Kanye West allegedly forced the project manager for his Malibu home to sleep on the floor before firing him over a disagreement about the removal of all the windows and the power in the building.
Tony Saxon, who claims he was hired by Yeezy in September 2021 to function as the project manager, caretaker, and round-the-clock security guards for Kanye West’s Malibu house, has filed the lawsuit.
Saxon claims that while overseeing Kanye’s restoration project, he put in exhausting 16-hour workdays and resorted to sleeping on the floor. He claims that Kanye didn’t care that he was sleeping on a coat as a makeshift mat.
In the legal docs, Saxon claims that Kanye ignored all of his concerns and only paid him for one week’s worth of work. The breaking point allegedly occurred in November 2021 when Kanye insisted on having all of the house’s power and windows taken out, according to Saxon.

Saxon expressed his concerns, highlighting the serious hazards associated in such acts. He claims that in response, Kanye yelled at him and insisted on moving large generators inside the house, which Saxon thought may be a severe fire threat.
In the lawsuit, Saxon claims that Kanye threatened him, saying he would be seen as a “enemy” if he didn’t comply with the requirements. According to Saxon, he stood his position, which caused Kanye to tell him to “leave immediately.”
Kanye is being sued by Saxon in the complaint for multiple violations of labor laws. He also wants Yeezy to pay him back for lost salary and other damages.
