Jada Pinkett Smith Calls Tupac Her True ‘Soulmate’ Over Will Smith
In a recent candid interview with Christal Jordan of Rolling Out, Jada Pinkett Smith, revealed details about her special relationship with late hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur. In the middle of speculation about how she portrays her connection with Will Smith in her biography, “Worthy,” Jada honestly acknowledged the essence of her love with Tupac.
When Jordan inquired if she ever regarded her connection with Tupac to be a “soulmate friendship” without romantic entanglement, Jada said,
“Definitely, soulmates exist in various forms – children can be soulmates too. The romanticized ‘soulmate’ perception is narrow.
If past lives are real, Tupac and I must’ve shared a few.”
To put an end to long-running allegations, Jada stated that while she and Tupac had a strong bond, their relationship never progressed into romantic zone. She defined their relationship as “friendship love chemistry,” with no romantic overtones. “It felt as though a divine force wanted us to be a potent duo but ensured we never transcended friendship,” she said of their bond’s tenacity.

The discussion also touched on current discoveries concerning Tupac’s terrible assassination in 1996. Jada emphasized her desire for closure in an Instagram story following the arrest of a key suspect, Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis. The allegations suggested Davis’s possible involvement in Tupac’s death, whether as the shooter or as a conspirator.
Jada Pinkett Smith revealed her seven-year separation from actor Will Smith in an unexpected disclosure. Despite the fact that they are still legally married, the pair has been living separate lives.
This shocking revelation fuelled speculation regarding Will’s spontaneous outburst at the 2022 Academy Awards, where he confronted presenter Chris Rock. The event, which was precipitated by a lighthearted jest about Jada, caught everyone off guard, including Jada herself.
