J. Cole Refuses to Say Will and Jada Line While Performing ‘No Role Modelz’
J. Cole’s well-known “No Role Modelz” lyrics, which make references to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, now have a new meaning. In a recent production of “2014 Forest Hills Drive,” Cole purposefully left out the phrase about “Will & Jada love,” indicating his awareness of the altered relationships.
The rapper from Dreamville acknowledged that he could no longer deliver the line with the same conviction as previously and allowed the audience take over in a fairly quiet manner. Following Jada’s admission that she and Will split up seven years ago, this adjustment has occurred.
