Bishop T.D. Jakes became emotional when addressing claims on social media that linked him to Diddy, which caused him to become popular on X for a week. The charges were a hot topic on social media, with people talking about them and discussing them in light of previous sexual assault lawsuits against Diddy.

The 66-year-old decided to confront the allegation during his YouTube-streamed church session on Saturday, December 24. He didn’t let the rumors die down during his lecture; instead, he made it clear that the charges were untrue.

“I didn’t come to convince you or nobody, because I know who I am,” he said. “That is not what this is about, you can think about whatever you want to think. I came to do my job, I came to prothesis as I was commanded. I came to hear the master say, ‘Well done,’” Jakes continued as his voice began to tremble, clearly overcome with emotion. Church-goers clapped in approval as he tried to regain his composure.

During another portion of the service, Jakes said he expected some people to watch him expressly so they could hear him address the things that had been spoken about him over the previous week.
