Jamie Foxx pays emotional tribute to late sister
On what would have been his sister DeOndra Dixon’s 39th birthday, Jamie Foxx recently revealed his tremendous grief. On Wednesday, three years after DeOndra’s death, the talented actor remembered his beloved sibling with a touching tribute on Instagram.
“Miss u … I wish you were here I know you’re in heaven, cracking everybody up with your jokes.” he wrote
Jamie is still grappling with the devastating loss he endured in October 2020, admitting that the awful event has left his heart severely devastated.
DeOndra, who had Down Syndrome, assumed the role of an Ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation in 2011.

Jamie has openly shared his deep affection for his sister, recounting how he cherished her from the very moment she came into the world, as he revealed in an interview with People.
After a recent hospitalization, Jamie Foxx is now back on his feet and in good health. He was recently spotted in public with his girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp, as they filmed his latest BetMGM commercial.
The couple made their first public appearance together in August, enjoying a meal with a group at Nobu in Malibu. A source later confirmed to people that they are indeed dating. Additionally, they were recently seen on a trip to Cabo, Mexico, further solidifying their relationship.
Alyce Huckstepp, known for her down-to-earth demeanor, has been a supportive presence in Jamie’s life during his recovery.
