Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, sometimes known as ADHD, is a neurodevelopmental disorder that impairs a person’s ability to focus and may cause impulsive behavior.
It is typically diagnosed in childhood and is more common in boys. Impulsivity, forgetfulness, procrastination, difficulties with organization, and inattentiveness are typical signs.
Will Smith went on to say that the illness had a negative impact on his academic achievement.
“I was a B student who should’ve been getting A’s – classic underachiever. It was hard for me to read an entire book in two weeks. Today I buy a book and have someone read it for me on tape!”
