Actress Taraji P. Henson has declared that she’s unimpressed with the men in the United States, joking that they’ve all been “ran through.”
The Empire star made the comment on Mary J. Blige’s new talk show, where she revealed she’s currently single and not looking for love.
“I honestly don’t have a ‘boo’,” Henson said, prompting Yung Miami to ask if she likes someone or has a guy she lunches with. Henson quipped, “Where is he?”
Blige and Yung Miami agreed with Henson’s sentiment, with Blige saying, “There’s a shortage” of good men.
Meanwhile, Yung Miami is thriving in her unconventional relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, saying, “It goes both ways. Ain’t nothing one-sided over here.”
Henson praised Blige for enjoying solo time, saying, “That’s powerful” to be able to date oneself.
The conversation highlights the challenges of finding love in the modern dating pool. As Henson said, “All the men have been ran through.”
