Jada Pinkett Smith brought to tears over heartfelt letter from Will Smith
Will Smith made a touching gesture towards his estranged wife after the release of Jada Pinkett Smith’s memoir “Worthy.” According to a video tweeted by @APEntertainment, Jada was a guest on Jay Shetty’s podcast, “On Purpose with Jay Shetty.”
Jay Shetty read a letter Will Smith wrote to Jada Pinkett Smith in reaction to her memoir during the show.
The famed actor lauded her efforts in the letter. He also expressed regret, saying that he would have embraced her more if he had read the book 30 years ago.

“I applaud and honour you. If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would have hugged you more. I will start now. Welcome to the author’s club, I love you endlessly. Now go get some merlot, and take a rest.”
With teary eyes, Jada playfully responded to Will’s final remark.
“He knows I can’t have some merlot. That’s beautiful. That’s why I cannot divorce that joker.”
The actress, who is also an author today, acknowledged that she and Will have been living separate lives for the past six years.
