Selena Gomez Finds Herself In Trouble Over Israel-Palestine Post
Selena Gomez wants a break from Instagram and plans to delete her account. This is because people were angry about what she said about the problems between Israel and Palestine. She put up a post on Thursday, but then took it down, saying, “I’m done. I do not support any of what’s going on.”
Soon after discussing the Gaza war on Instagram and receiving backlash, Selena made the decision to delete the platform.
Selena discussed her thoughts on the Middle East conflict on Monday, stating that she detests witnessing torture and murder. She added that although she knows that posting a message won’t be sufficient, she still wishes she could improve the world.

“That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t.”
People reacted negatively to Selena’s post about Israel-Palestine and called her names online. They accused her of not doing enough to help, of acting like a victim, and of saying her platform didn’t matter.
Other celebrities were also not spared for discussing the conflict. Mia Khalifa was fired from Playboy for her Hamas support, and the Hadid family received death threats. However, Selena is the only one who has mentioned deleting her account.
