Rapper Lil Scrappy has faced backlash after making controversial comments about women in relationships. During an Instagram Live session, Scrappy said: ‘Real women don’t leave their men, cuz, at all. They know the future.’
He added: ‘They want to be on their own, they think they’re strong. Okay, be strong b***h. Be on your own. Raise all your kids…’
Scrappy’s comments were seemingly aimed at Rasheeda and Yandy Smith, who have been embroiled in high-profile relationship dramas. Rasheeda’s husband Kirk Frost has been accused of cheating with Jasmine Bleu, while Yandy’s husband Mendeecees has refused to wear his wedding ring amid their marriage issues.
Scrappy claimed to have spoken to both Rasheeda and Yandy, saying: ‘Nah Rasheeda ain’t never leaving Kirk… Them motherf_*ers ain’t never leaving them n*_*s man.’
The rapper also addressed allegations that he’s expecting a fifth child with a woman named Shakira, saying: ‘I got four babies, four kids. They say one on the way, just put it in the air.’
Scrappy assured fans that he would take care of the child if it’s biologically his, saying: ‘If it’s mine, I’ma take care of it.’
Neither Rasheeda nor Yandy have publicly responded to Scrappy’s comments.
