At home in New York City and ‒ go figure ‒ in front of a red brick wall, American jazz singer Samara Joy, who won the prestigious Best New Artist Grammy in 2023, is excited about the gamut of reactions to her music when she soon travels to New Zealand.
Playing a single show at the Wellington Jazz Festival on October 16 this year, the 25-year-old sensation is looking forward to her Aotearoa debut ‒ and to begin building a relationship with her audience here.
