Samara Joy, the 24-year-old vocal sensation, has solidified her position as a leading lady in jazz with her latest album, “Portrait”, released on October 11, 2024, via Verve Records.

The critically acclaimed album showcases Joy’s remarkable artistic growth, featuring her touring band in a captivating display of musical synergy.

Recently, Joy mesmerized audiences at Clearwater’s Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, flaunting her impressive vocal range and style. Her setlist included iconic tracks “Reincarnation of a Lovebird” and “Tight”, seamlessly blending jazz genres.

Following  Joy’s historic 2023 Grammy wins, her manager Matt Pierson reflected on the achievement.

“The Best New Artist win is an award for the artist, not the recording,” Pierson said. “Samara is obviously deserving based on her talent. It also shows our team and partners have successfully launched her career. As her manager, I’m very grateful and honored that she won.”

Joy’s talent has earned her widespread recognition, cementing her status as a rising star in the jazz world. She holds dual distinctions as the second jazz artist and first female jazz vocalist since 1980’s Debbie Boone to win the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
