Rich Homie Quan, the platinum-selling rapper, died from a lethal mix of drugs including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner in Georgia.
The 34-year-old rapper’s death has been ruled an accident. An autopsy revealed no signs of trauma.
Toxicology results showed THC in his system, but authorities confirm cannabis was not the cause of death.
Last month, Rich Homie Quan was found unresponsive on his Atlanta home’s couch by his girlfriend. She called 911, reporting he wasn’t breathing, had no heartbeat, and foamed at the mouth when moved.
Rich Homie Quan passed away just shy of his 35th birthday. He has since been laid to rest.
Recently, his estate released a posthumous song and music video featuring footage from his funeral.
