Lioness Passes Away During Tranquilization for Will Smith’s Documentary Filming

Will Smith witnesses a tragic incident with a lioness while filming a conservation documentary.

A lioness tragically perished while being sedated for a tracking collar treatment while Hollywood actor Will Smith, 54, was in Africa filming a conservation documentary with Claws Conservancy.

An impartial veterinarian has been hired by Botswana’s Department of Wildlife and National Parks to look into the incident’s circumstances, which happened in June.

Will Smith hasn’t spoken out publicly about the event as of now. His first venture after earning a ten-year Oscars ban for punching comedian Chris Rock after he made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, was this initiative.

However, the actor has come under fire from the large game conservation community.
