A man carrying a machete was shot and killed by police in Calabasas on Wednesday night. This incident took place at a restaurant frequented by celebrities like Will Smith and Kim Kardashian.
Around 7:30 p.m., there was a fight close to Sagebrush Cantina, so the police were called. When they arrived, they witnessed a fifty-year-old man storming into the restaurant brandishing a knife and carrying a broken bottle.
In the parking lot, they attempted to tase him twice, but it was unsuccessful. The police opened fire on him several times as he continued to enter the restaurant’s outdoor area. Those who witnessed it said this.
The perpetrator was quickly carried to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The restaurant is located in Old Town, a posh neighborhood in Calabasas that is home to many well-known people.
The restaurant was surrounded by yellow tape in news footage, which is more common for celebrities than for law enforcement-related incidents. Kylie Jenner is a big fan of the Mexican eatery.
