Nicolas Kerdiles killed in motorcycle crash
Nicolas Kerdiles, a former NHL hockey player who was formerly engaged to TV personality Savannah Chrisley, died in a motorbike accident in Nashville on Saturday, according to authorities. He was 29 years old.
Kerdiles, a former Anaheim Ducks player, allegedly ran a stop sign early Saturday and collided with the driver’s side of an SUV. The SUV’s driver immediately came to a halt, and authorities ruled that neither party was impaired.
At the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Kerdiles passed away.
The Ducks selected Kerdiles in the 2012 draft, and he spent two seasons with the team, playing in a combined three games in the 2016–17 and 2017–18 seasons.

He later played for the Manitoba Moose in the lower minors until being moved to the Winnipeg Jets in 2018. He had recently been working in Nashville’s real estate industry.
Savannah Chrisley, known for her part in the television series “Chrisley Knows Best,” and Kerdiles were previously engaged.
In the year 2020, the couple parted ways. Chrisley posted on social media on Sunday to express her feelings in the wake of Kerdiles’ passing on Saturday.
