Keke Palmer Teams Up With Google For 4th Annual Black-Owned Friday Shoppable Campaign
On November 20, Google and the United States Black Chambers of Commerce (USBC) unveiled their fourth Annual Black-Owned Friday Campaign, which featured the award-winning actress and singer.
The initiative aims to promote and support black-owned businesses not only during the holiday season, but also in the long run.
Palmer posted a fun “Call To Action” video on Instagram on Monday, urging global shoppers to consistently support Black-owned businesses.
Palmer puts her creative spin on Crystal Waters’ classic house hit “100% Pure Love” in the short, shoppable video, encouraging consumers to support Black-owned businesses in order to promote economic empowerment within the Black community.
In the engaging video, the Primetime Emmy Award-winning star visits and supports various Black-owned businesses, such as International Beauty Supply and ETC in Los Angeles, and Critter Care Animal Hospital in Houston, Texas.

he campaign also highlights numerous brands featured on the ByBlack Platform, a free national directory and certification program powered by USBC.
ByBlack aims to assist consumers in connecting with Black businesses and providing support to emerging Black-owned brands. Alicea Gay, VP of External Affairs, commended the Hollywood actress for utilizing her voice and platform to express support for Black-owned businesses globally.
