Fortunately, Majors only has one unreleased Marvel project, Season 2 of Disney+’s Loki, which could make a recast less complicated.
The Cosmic Circus reported that Marvel may replace Jonathan Majors as Kang after his assault charge.

Although Marvel has not yet made a decision on Majors’ future in the franchise, preparations for a potential recasting have reportedly begun.
Although Jonathan Majors is still set to appear as Kang in the next season of Loki, his future in the MCU is uncertain.
Marvel delayed production of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty until next year while deciding whether to keep Majors.
On March 25, 2023, Jonathan Majors was arrested in Manhattan over a reported domestic dispute with his girlfriend. The charges included misdemeanor strangulation, assault, and harassment.
According to Variety on April 19, several individuals who claimed to be victims of abuse by Jonathan Majors had stepped forward following his arrest.
They are reportedly cooperating with the district attorney’s office. As of yet, no additional charges have been brought against Majors.
The actor’s lawyers are optimistic that the testimony of a forensic medical expert will dismiss accusations of domestic violence.
“We have been transparent and cooperative…In fact, a forensic medical expert’s opinion show that the woman is lying,”
The court hearing is set for May 9th, and supporters of the actor are confident of a favorable outcome.
