Jeannie Mai accuses Jeezy of cheating and Wants Prenup Enforced
By filing for divorce from rapper Jeezy recently, Jeannie Mai shocked everyone. Jeezy announced his divorce a few months ago, despite their seeming happy marriage.
Though, in an interview with Nia Long, Jeezy implied that a true man would never cheat, he had previously refrained from revealing the cause of the divorce. To nullify their prenuptial agreement, Jeannie now claims in her filing that Jeezy cheated on her.
In portions of the lawsuit made public by TMZ, Jeannie Mai’s mother made hints that Jeezy might have cheated. She wants to resolve their asset division outside of court and would rather not discuss the specifics in public.

According to the filing, “Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly.”
Jeannie Mai also brought up the infidelity clause in her filing, which addresses a variety of cheating behaviors, such as sending sexually suggestive direct messages on social media.
As detailed in Paragraph 8 of their prenuptial agreement, the clause stipulates that engaging in such behavior will result in a significant financial penalty for the party involved.
The song “Don’t Cheat,” which was released by Jeezy following his divorce filing, sparked rumors among fans that Jeannie Mai had cheated. However, Jeannie and her co-host Mario Lopez refuted the reports.
Monaca Mai Jenkins, their daughter, is currently under Jeannie’s temporary and permanent physical custody request. In a recent court document, Jeezy accused Jeannie of “gatekeeping” and chastised her for controlling his time with their daughter. In order to settle the custody agreement, he is asking for a temporary court hearing.
