Bill Cosby Sued by Actress Joan Tarshis over alleged sexual assault.
Actress Joan Tarshis, who met Bill Cosby at the age of 19 through a friend, is suing him again for allegedly raping him. According to new court documents, she passed out during a writing session at the Cosby Show studio after he gave her a drink, and when she woke up, he was undressing her.
Joan Tarshis asserts in a court filing that TMZ was able to access that she was overcome by Bill Cosby and that he put his penis in her mouth while she was confused. She claims that she was drugged by Cosby twice in the 1970s; the second incident happened in New York City approximately a year later, and she claims to have passed out after drinking and woke up in Cosby’s bed the following day.

Tarshis has lodged a complaint, claiming false imprisonment, assault, battery, and infliction of emotional distress. She has previously told CNN’s Don Lemon that Cosby forced her to perform a sex act, so this isn’t the first time she has spoken out.
More than sixty women accused Bill Cosby of misbehavior that dates back to the 1960s when the allegations against him first arose in 2014.
He was found guilty in 2017 despite having denied earlier charges, and he was given a sentence of three to ten years. However, the conviction was later overturned as a result of a legal arrangement with a former prosecutor.
