Jada Pinkett Smith gives very interesting answer when asked if she and Will Smith are gay
Jada Pinkett Smith spoke openly about the intriguing allegations around her and her husband Will Smith’s sexuality in an hour-long NBC interview with Hoda Kotb.
Throughout the entire conversation, Kotb, the 59-year-old host, gently pressed Pinkett Smith, 52, in an effort to allay rumors about the unusual nature of her union with Will Smith, 55.
Kotb remembered how the pair had to deal with a ‘barrage of rumors’ throughout the years, including suspicions of an open marriage, swinging, and a variety of conjectures regarding the sexual orientations of both spouses.
The host said: ‘what, if anything, is true?’ Pinkett Smith responded: ‘I would say that none of that’s true’. She was not asked if she or Will are bisexual.
The rumors about the couple’s sexuality have swirled for years, and Pinkett Smith even addressed them all the way back in 2019: ‘I’ve heard all the things – their marriage is not real, he’s gay, she’s gay, they swing. I tell you what, it’s too hard to be in a pretend marriage.’
This past week, Pinkett Smith revealed that she and her spouse have been living apart for seven years, putting an end to earlier rumors about their unusual union.

In the interview on Friday, Pinkett Smith said, ‘I definitely can understand why there would be misunderstandings. But none of it’s true.’
Since their marriage in 1997, the couple, who have two children together, Willow and Jaden, as well as Smith’s son Trey from a previous marriage, have become well-known figures in Hollywood.
Pinkett Smith revealed on Friday night that while not having legally separated, they essentially live different lives despite having previously openly discussed periods of separation and marital difficulties.
