Jada Pinkett Smith, 52, has stated that she intends to stay married to Will Smith, 55, despite their divorce, during a discussion of her new memoir, “Worthy,” on The Drew Barrymore Show. According to Jada’s candid book, the couple, who married in 1997 and have two children together, Jaden and Willow, divorced in 2016.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have reconciled, despite their previous split. Drew said on The Drew Barrymore Show with Jada, “I feel like maybe your and his shadow separated in some way, whether they stay together forever or not.” It appears that you will be together indefinitely.”

Pinkett Smith responded, “We’re staying together forever. I tried. We tried.”

Following the interview, Jada Pinkett Smith expressed her desire to recommit to her marriage with Will Smith after he slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards. During a book tour event in New York City, Pinkett Smith shared, “When I was sitting at the Oscars, it clicked in, I was like, ‘Oh snap, you hit Chris?’”

Will Smith joined Jada Pinkett Smith onstage at a book tour event in Baltimore, Maryland, reacting to the revelations in his wife’s memoir. The “King Richard” star described their relationship as “brutiful,” a blend of brutal and beautiful, expressing that Jada is the best friend he has ever had, and he is committed to showing up and supporting her for the rest of his life.
