J Cole Reacts to Jada Pinkett and Will Smith Controversy
The continuing Keeping Up With the Smiths controversy has received commentary from yet another notable individual. Rapper J Cole recently performed, adding his voice or rather, his silence to the conversation.
J. Cole made a subtle reference to the renowned characters from the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which launched Smith to fame, while performing a live version of a song that explores the subject of true love. An excerpt of the song’s lyrics is provided below:
“I want a real love, dark-skinned and Aunt Viv love. That Jada and that Will love. That leave a toothbrush at your crib love.”
When Jada and Will’s names were mentioned, the well-known artist surprisingly said nothing. A few onlookers found J Cole’s move amusing, despite the fact that many have grown tired of hearing from the “Worthy” author following accusations of purposefully embarrassing the “Bad Boys” star:
Jada Pinkett Smith has spoke openly about the likelihood of her and husband Will Smith divorcing over the next ten years. The well-known Hollywood pair, who was hitched in 1997, has previously struggled with periods of separation and marital difficulties.
