Houston Rapper Viper Arrested After Kidnapping and Holding Woman For 5 years
Lee Carter, better known as Houston rapper Viper, was taken into custody on suspicion of kidnapping and retaining a hostage a woman for a number of years at his residence in southeast Houston. Under a $100,000 bond, 52-year-old Carter is being held in relation to charges of aggravated kidnapping.
There is a possibility that someone was trapped inside one of the house’s internal rooms, according to Houston Police Department Commander Michael Collins, who made the arrest based on an active aggravated abduction warrant.
“They made the arrest for the outstanding aggravated kidnapping warrant,” The concern is that we possibly had an individual located inside this residence, perhaps locked inside one of the interior rooms.”

Carter is charged with getting a woman into his car, claiming to help, and then kidnapping her and holding her captive in his garage. The woman said that Carter sometimes let her take a shower but otherwise forced her to do drugs like crack and have sex.
She claimed that Carter would kidnap her and threaten violence despite her repeated attempts to flee. Using a laptop and the Text Now app, the woman was able to let the police know where she was and make a 911 call.
Police discovered the woman in an extremely malnourished state, weighing around 70 pounds and emitting a strong odor. Neighbors suspected the involvement of human trafficking or the production of adult films in the home.
