Female rapper GloRilla says she’s now celibate: “it’s been a couple of days”

GloRilla has recently shared her decision to remain celibate until she meets her future husband. On November 10, she took to her X account to announce that she is currently single and plans to stay celibate until her marital status changes. She stated, “Single & celibate until God send me my husband.”

This announcement follows her Halloween prank where she wore a fake baby bump, claiming to be pregnant. She humorously named actor Abraham “Da’Vinchi” Juste as the father, but later appearances without the bump confirmed it was all in jest.

Earlier in 2024, GloRilla attempted a 90-day celibacy challenge to start the new year. However, she humorously admitted struggling just nine days in, saying, “Started my 90 day celibacy lil shit for new year’s or wtv, I’m on da 9th day & my vision blurry af !!!!! Send help.”

GloRilla isn’t alone in her celibacy journey. Omarion also embarked on a similar path, which he discussed on André Duqum’s Know Thyself podcast. He described it as a personal challenge during a time when he was exploring Christianity. Omarion explained, “When I decided to become celibate, it was because I was really just searching for something more for myself.”

He reflected on how this decision helped him focus on his music and personal growth. Despite others questioning his choice, he remained committed, saying, “I just found myself in that position of wanting to understand my energy and give myself time to grow.”

Omarion also shared a humorous moment when he discovered that Lenny Kravitz had been practicing celibacy for years, saying, “And then I come to find out that Lenny Kravitz has been celibate for however long! I’m like, ‘Wow!’ That’s a different glow.”
