Will Smith, a rapper turned blockbuster actor, released a new single titled “You Can Make It” to rehabilitate his image after slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
The song is being largely ignored by fans worldwide, including in South America and Africa. Despite this, it is charting on Shazam in several countries and has garnered over half a million Spotify plays.
The track entered Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart at No. 3 and Hot Christian Songs tally at No. 23. It earned a significant amount in radio audience, streams, and sales in its first week.

Critics have noted that the song alternates between self-improvement clichés and a victim narrative, suggesting it lacks genuine personal growth.
