In a stunning turn of events, Evelyn Lozada has revealed that she hired a private investigator to dig into the past of her Basketball Wives costar Jackie Christie. The move came after the two had a dramatic fallout during the offseason, leaving Evelyn wondering what drove Jackie’s behavior.
“I started going down this rabbit hole and I didn’t know that I was gonna end up where I ended up,” Evelyn explained in an exclusive interview with US Weekly.
The investigation uncovered a bombshell allegation: Jackie was arrested for prostitution in 1987. Evelyn shared the shocking news with their costars on the show, leaving many stunned.
“Maybe it was her karma for the thing she said about my daughter years ago,” Evelyn said, referencing a past hurtful comment made by Jackie.

Evelyn claims she shared the information to understand Jackie’s motivations and to expose her hypocrisy. “I think people don’t understand how I got there. It’s really just trying to figure out, ‘Why are you this person? What made you this way?'” Evelyn added.
Jackie has yet to address the allegations on camera, and her team has not commented. The situation has raised questions about the boundaries of reality TV and the drama that unfolds when personalities clash.
Basketball Wives airs Monday nights on VH1 at 8 p.m. ET.
