Celine Dion Sings Publicly for the First Time Since Stiff Person Syndrome Diagnosis
Renowned singer Celine Dion was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune movement disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome, which results in body rigidity, almost a year ago. Dion reassured her supporters that she has a committed team of doctors at her side and that she is unwavering in her resolve even though there is no cure.
Celine Dion has been open about the effect of her illness on her voice, saying that she no longer sounds the same and has lost control of it. This has led her to cancel the Courage World Tour.

Recently, Celine Dion supported her hometown team, the Montreal Canadiens, by going to an NHL game at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with her three sons. Her first public appearance since 2019 was that one, and she shocked the group by belting out “a few notes.”
Although Dion has both good and bad days, Chantal Machabée, vice president of hockey communications, praised Dion for her amazing performance and said that today was a comfortingly good day.
