Alfonso Ribeiro Reveals ‘DWTS’ Will Pay Tribute to Len Goodman This Season
The Dancing with the Stars community is preparing to honor Len Goodman in their own special way: via the art of dancing, Alfonso Ribeiro, a co-host and former participant on “Dancing with the Stars,” spoke with reporters after ABC revealed the show’s full roster and discussed how it will pay tribute to the late judge, who passed away in April at the age of 78.
“I can guarantee you that every one of those pros will be making sure that the routines are still designed for Len,” I know I’ve talked to a few of them, and they will be putting in specific steps that Len loved just to make sure that the content is still there for him.”
“I do know that they’re looking at doing something,” Ribeiro added. “I can’t tell you what it is yet, but we’re going to definitely do something to honor him. There won’t be a dry eye in the house. He was the best.”
The renowned English dancing expert died on April 22 at a hospice in Kent, southern England. He had served as a judge on DWTS since the competition’s beginning in 2005. As reported to CNN by his manager, this followed a valiant battle with bone cancer.
