Aaron Carter’s Sister Arrested on Drug and Theft Charges

Bobbie Jean, the sister of Aaron Carter, was apprehended in Florida on allegations of stealing stickers from a Hobby Lobby store. According to the arrest report, Bobbie was found with fentanyl in her possession when she was apprehended on Saturday, June 10, in Hernando County.

She had taken six stickers worth slightly over $55 from the store shelves, placed them in her purse, and exited without paying, as reported by the Hobby Lobby loss prevention team.

Upon entering the store’s loss prevention office, where she was escorted by sheriff’s deputies, Bobbie reportedly exhibited immediate panic, hastily grabbing her purse and attempting to conceal a powder blue container beneath the desk.

The container that Bobbie tried to hide contained approximately 1.3 grams of white powder and 0.8 grams of purple powder, which was later identified as fentanyl through a field test. While being transported to the jail after her arrest, Bobbie allegedly made threats of self-harm, according to authorities.

She was subsequently charged with one count of retail theft and one count of possession of fentanyl.

Bobbie’s arrest follows her mother, Jane Schneck, being taken into custody for battery in the early hours of Saturday, April 29. The altercation reportedly occurred during an argument with her husband.

Prior to Jane’s arrest, she had been vocal on Facebook, demanding further police investigation into the death of her son, Aaron, on November 5, 2022.

Although the autopsy report confirmed that Aaron, known for his hit song “I Want Candy,” died from drowning in his bathtub due to a combination of prescription pills and inhaling compressed air cans, Jane has persistently claimed foul play was involved.

Meanwhile, Aaron’s brother, Nick, recently faced legal troubles as well, with a second accusation of sexual assault in recent months. Former Dream singer Melissa Schuman filed a lawsuit earlier this year against the Backstreet Boys member, alleging sexual assault and battery in connection to an incident that purportedly occurred in 2003 when she was 18 and he was 22.
