A video clip posted on TikTok captured the heartwarming moment when Yung was passionately singing the chorus of Sheeran’s latest single, “Eyes Closed,” on a subway platform in New York City. As the 32-year-old global superstar approached him, Yung was taken aback, and the two artists shared a warm embrace. Yung couldn’t contain his admiration, telling Sheeran, “You’re the man.”
With their chance encounter on the subway platform, the impromptu collaboration continued as the duo began singing “Eyes Closed” together. Sheeran’s beaming smile stretched from ear to ear as they performed the song.
