Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash has spoken out about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking allegations, revealing he attended one of Diddy’s infamous parties in the Hamptons 20 years ago.
“I went to one in the Hamptons about 20 years ago with Aaliyah, and that’s about it,” Dash said in an Instagram Stories clip.
Dash, 53, was pictured with Diddy, Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z, and the late Aaliyah in resurfaced photos from 2000 (scroll up to see the photo).
“Ain’t s*** happen in the Hamptons… that’s the day I met Aaliyah,” Dash said, addressing circulating photos.
Dash claimed his romance with Aaliyah began in the Hamptons and emphasized nothing inappropriate occurred.
“We hung out there and then we left, and that’s what happened… That was 20 years ago, that was not in L.A. or Miami,” Dash stated.
He’s not surprised by the entertainment industry’s silence on the matter.
“People will sit there and watch people do things that could be immoral, but until they get caught, no one says anything,” Dash said.
Dash prioritizes his moral compass: “If something is against my moral fabric, then I’m moving on.”
Combs pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking and racketeering allegations.
The indictment alleges Combs abused, threatened, and coerced women to fulfill his desires, conceal his conduct, and protect his reputation, with allegations dating back to 2008.
Combs faces at least 15 years in custody and a maximum life sentence if convicted.
