Tyrese Gibson got emotional on Club Shay Shay, confessing his divorce from Samantha Lee left him “devastated and crushed.” He said, “I wanted someone or something to be with me… I got married because I wanted to do it for the rest of my life.”
Gibson criticized female singers who promote being single, saying, “No one needs to go home to a poodle and a vibrator. Nobody needs to be alone, nobody should be alone.” He called the idea of being alone “bullshit.”
He reflected on his divorce, saying, “I let God down… I didn’t promise her anything.” Gibson also shared, “I’ve never allowed anyone to matter as much as my marriage mattered. I’ve also never gave anyone so much of myself, ever.”

Last week, Gibson claimed Lee requested a $40,000 increase in child support after his emotional Breakfast Club interview, saying, “I’m out here stressed the fuck out… They’re trying to get to the bottom of what actual money is in my bank account.”
