A fan stood in between Will Smith and Kanye West as they were pictured traveling from the Middle East to Los Angeles on an international flight. West was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and Smith was wearing a blue shirt with a goatee on an Emirates flight. Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff had recently performed together at the Soundstorm music festival in Saudi Arabia.

At the festival, the pair played in front of 50,000 spectators, following in the footsteps of such well-known performers as Metallica, Travis Scott, Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent, and Calvin Harris. Other notable acts included Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa.

The Grammy-winning duo performed a 40-minute set that featured solo hits like Miami and Just the Two of Us, as well as a surprise appearance by Smith’s son Jaden. The set highlighted Jeff’s turntable prowess and Smith’s charisma. According to National News, West attended the event as well. He had been in Saudi Arabia working on a new album.

Following a trip to Disneyland with his wife and daughter, the artist made another anti-Semitic remark in Las Vegas. Kanye West and Will Smith have both had career setbacks in the last two years as a result of controversies, with West losing partnerships in late 2022 after making antisemitic statements and praising Adolf Hitler.

More than a year-and-a-half ago, Smith caused a stir at the 2022 Oscars by slapping Chris Rock over a joke about Pinkett Smith’s shaved head, related to the movie ‘G.I. Jane 2.’ Smith later apologized in his Best Actor Oscar acceptance speech but did not mention Rock.

Despite multiple apologies and resigning from the Academy, Smith faced a 10-year ban from the Oscars for the incident, and he expressed regret for his behavior in subsequent statements, acknowledging the impact on his family and extending an apology to Rock.
