Britney Spears “Exposes” Justin Timberlake in upcoming memoir “The Woman in Me”
Justin Timberlake is one of the first well-known people to get criticism in Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which is living up to its promise of being an honest revelation.
The book, which is slated for publication on October 24, contains information on Spears’ pregnancy while she was seeing the NSYNC frontman during their widely publicized romance at the turn of the century.
She says that he pushed on an abortion because he didn’t feel ready to be a father. In an excerpt published online by People on Tuesday, Timberlake is discussed in relation to his reaction to the pregnancy, with the singer stating that he definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy.
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much,” Spears wrote. “I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

“If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it,” Spears wrote. “And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
At the ages of 17 and 18, respectively, Spears and Timberlake began dating in 1999, as they both rose to the top of the pop music world. Spears was unfairly held responsible for the end of their relationship after their breakup in 2002, largely by powerful media people.
