Tupac Shakur to receive posthumous star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
In recognition of his enduring legacy, the beloved rap icon Tupac Shakur will be posthumously celebrated with a star on the illustrious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Marking a significant occasion, the star dedication ceremony is scheduled for June 7, situated on the iconic Hollywood Boulevard.
Accepting this esteemed honor on behalf of her brother will be Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, the sister of Tupac. The star will be placed in the prestigious Recording category, paying tribute to his extraordinary influence on the music industry. In a statement provided by CBS, Ana Martinez, the producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, expressed the following sentiment:
