Zac Brown Separates From Wife Kelly Yazdi After 4 Months of Marriage
A joint statement from Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi, who wed in secret four months ago, stated that they had decided to divorce on Friday.
‘We are in the process of divorce. Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together,’ the estranged duo told TMZ.
‘As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.’
The pair married in a secret ceremony at the end of August in Coweta County, Georgia, after being engaged almost a year earlier after seeing the model wearing a big ring. Kelly Yazdi had been touring with the Zac Brown Band since at least July, despite their modest public persona and sparse image sharing.
During their tour, Kelly Yazdi was spotted in an Instagram post honoring Zac’s birthday; however, after she deleted her account, speculations of a romantic conflict surfaced. She deactivated it, deleted all of the photos, and unfollowed Zac Brown, indicating that things were not going well in their marriage.
After 12 years of marriage and the separation of his then-wife Shelly, with whom he shared five children, in 2018, Zac Brown filed for his second divorce.

‘We feel blessed to be on such an incredible journey in life and sometimes the journey begins to lead in different directions. It is with deep love and respect that we announce we are separating as a couple,’ said the former couple in a joint statement.
‘We have led a whirlwind life together growing into a beautiful family with five amazing children and while life will be rearranging a bit, our love and commitment to our family will always be there,’ they continued.
‘This was a difficult decision, but we’ve done plenty of tough things together and this is our next venture — love, mutual respect, and care for each other are what we are moving forward with.’
