World’s oldest living woman’ celebrates her 117th birthday with her 107-year-old sister
Cicera Maria dos Santos, who is thought to have been born in 1906, just celebrated her amazing 117th birthday. If verified, this would surpass the 116-year-old Spanish woman, Maria Branyas Morera, who now holds the Guinness World Record.
On September 23, in the presence of cherished family and friends, Cicera celebrated her birthday alongside her 107-year-old sister, Josefa Maria de Conceicao. The festivities included a colorful cake, delicious food, and thunderous applause from everyone present.
The sisters told local media that maintaining a balanced diet and having unwavering trust in God are the keys to living a long life.
“May the Lord’s peace be upon us,” urged Cicera. Who is superior to God? He holds the reins to everything.

‘They survived everything from the last century, and they beat COVID,’ he explained.
