Woman Clings to Speeding Car After Thieves Steal French Bulldog

When someone stole a French Bulldog, the owner took action by clinging to the hood of the thieves’ speeding car.

While having lunch at a Whole Foods in Downtown L.A., Ali Zacharias had her French Bulldog Onyx with her under the table, when a woman approached, claimed to know the dog, and attempted to walk away with Onyx by grabbing the leash.

When the woman ignored her and kept walking, Ali followed, but the woman got into a waiting car. Ali tried to get in, but there were others inside who pushed her out and locked the doors. Ali then stood in front of the car, yelling for help, but no one came. As the driver sped away, Ali ended up on the hood of the car, holding on tight.

The car drove for several blocks before suddenly turning, causing Ali to be thrown off the hood and onto the street. She informed the LAPD about the dognapping, and they searched the area for surveillance footage of the suspects.

The car involved was identified as a white Kia Forte sedan missing a front driver’s side hubcap. Onyx, a black Merle French Bulldog with two different colored eyes and a spotted coat, is still missing. Ali expressed her anguish to KTLA TV, stating, “They stole my child away from me,” and she is praying to be reunited with Onyx.

Stealing French Bulldogs has become a big issue lately, as seen in the high-profile case of Lady Gaga’s dogs being taken while her dogwalker was walking them. Ali is now offering a substantial reward for Onyx’s return and urges anyone with information to contact her at 626-264-7923 or call the LAPD at 1-877-275-5273.
