On Wednesday night, Jada Pinkett Smith appeared on stage in her native Baltimore with Will Smith to discuss her most recent book. Following Jada’s recent admission that the pair had been living apart since 2016, Will made a beautiful gesture of unshakable commitment and lifelong support.
Smith’s surprise presence with their kids Jaden and Willow, as well as his son Trey Smith, left Pinkett Smith speechless. This surprise followed a fascinating talk about her book “Worthy.” When Adrienne Banfield-Norris turned 70 on that Wednesday, Pinkett Smith revealed that their entire family including her aunt and uncle, Will Smith’s mother, and sister—had gathered in town to celebrate.
Smith described their connection as “brutiful” during the incident, demonstrating that it has both brutal and beautiful aspects.

“Will and me are good,” Pinkett Smith told Laura Coates of CNN, who moderated Wednesday night’s discussion. “All the people who don’t understand and got something to say are just going to have to fall in line. “The truth of the matter is I’m not leaving Will’s side and he’s not going to leave mine. We’ve been on a powerful quest. And I’m happier than I’ve ever been,” she added.
