Will Smith Filed for Divorce from Jada Pinkett Smith After She Admitted She Loved Tupac More?
A video claiming that actor Will Smith filed for divorce from his wife, fellow actor Jada Pinkett Smith, appeared on the Hot Hut YouTube channel on October 14, 2023.
This followed Jada’s admission that she preferred the late rapper Tupac Shakur to him. When we checked Hot Hut’s YouTube channel, the video, titled “Will Smith Files For Divorce On IG Live After Jada Admits She Loved Tupac More,” had received over 70,000 views.
The video was posted following Pinkett Smith’s October 13, 2023, revelation in an NBC News special that she and Smith had not been together since 2016. Pinkett Smith discussed her friendship with Shakur, which started when they were teenagers in Baltimore, Maryland, in the special.

Although Pinkett Smith and Smith’s divorce is public knowledge, there is no evidence that Smith started the divorce process, particularly not after Pinkett Smith acknowledged her feelings for Shakur.
Probably in an attempt to elicit strong reactions in the comments section, the video’s misleading title contained false information and emotionally charged moments. Viewers who were duped by the false information would often leave a lot of comments on these kinds of videos, which can have hundreds or even thousands of views.
