Will Smith praised his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith for becoming a bestselling author. Her memoir, “Worthy,” entered the New York Times bestsellers list at number four for non-fiction books.
She shared her excitement about this accomplishment in a recent Instagram post.
“Thank you to the RTT family, the Worthy Warriors and to all who wanted to know my story beyond headlines.”
“I was sitting here thinking that there was a time where women actually had to take on the names of men in order to be published, and here we have four women at the top of the bestsellers list,” she said, adding, “… I’m deeply grateful.”
In the post’s comments, Jada’s husband Will left a message.
“‘New York Times Best Selling Author, Jada Pinkett Smith’ CONGRATS, MAMA! Big Looks.”
In her memoir, Jada talked about the Oscars incident, admitting she didn’t realize it wasn’t a skit until Will walked back to his seat.
She was surprised he still called her his “wife” after their seven-year separation. Jada also announced that her show Red Table Talk will be coming back next year.
