Recently, Will Smith took another step to show his immense pride as the father of the now 23-year-old.
Over a billion listens to Willow Smith’s song “Wait a Minute!” from her debut album “Ardipithecus” have been made on Spotify. Will Smith posted a picture of himself putting his phone up to see Willow’s song’s streaming figures as a way to celebrate. In the subsequent slide, he circled the “Wait a Minute!” track, emphasizing its stream count and mentioning that Willow was the only member of their family to reach “a BILLION streams.”

In response to the post, Willow commented “love u daddy” along with a white heart emoji. Despite Will acknowledging the pressure for Willow to excel like him and Jada Pinkett Smith, he has wholeheartedly supported his children. This isn’t the first time he’s shown himself to be Willow’s biggest supporter.
Will Smith attended Coachella to watch his daughter Willow perform, sharing a video on Instagram from the audience. The 55-year-old actor captured Willow’s talent on stage at the Mojave tent, expressing his joy in the clip and captioning it “WILLOWCHELLA!!”. A highlight was when Willow brought her brother, Jaden Smith, on stage during her set.
The Smith siblings performed their collaboration “Summertime in Paris” together. Familiar with Coachella, the Smith family has made appearances in the past, including Will joining Jaden onstage for “Icon” in 2019, where Willow also participated. Despite facing controversies, their close bond remains their strength.
