Will Smith Acquires a New $11.3 Million Home for Jada Pinkett
The well-known entertainment couple Will and Jada Pinkett Smith currently own at least eight properties across the United States. They recently paid $11.3 million for a massive mansion in Hidden Hills, a gated community home to Jeffree Star, Drake, Kaley Cuoco, and Kylie Jenner. They keep adding properties to their collection in spite of this.
Built last year on speculation, the two-story home boasts nearly 10,000 square feet of living space and is referred to as a “Napa Modern” residence. The estate has been up for sale since June of 2020, even though it was meant to be finished in the early months of that year. The Smiths paid about $1 million less than the $12.2 million asking price when they purchased it.
The 1.2-acre property is perched atop a ridge with commanding views of the San Fernando Valley, at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac. It features an open kitchen with two islands, a large pantry, a soundproof movie theater, a games room with a wet bar, and a double-height entryway. Additional features include a formal dining room with a wine refrigerator enclosed in glass and a gym with a thermal shower.

The master suite on the upper level features a built-in refrigerator, a coffee bar, two dressing rooms, a sitting area, and a fireplace. There is a private bathroom in each of the house’s six bedrooms. The exterior features stone loggias for alfresco dining and entertaining.
These lead to a fully equipped kitchen with a barbecue, a swimming pool with a built-in spa, a sports court, and a “serenity lounge” situated in the backyard. The Smiths may be able to save money on maintenance because the property is surprisingly devoid of a sizable green backyard and extensive landscaping.
To update the opulent rooms of the mansion, the new owners may engage the services of an interior designer. The couple’s primary home, a $42 million custom mega-mansion in Calabasas, was previously featured in Architectural Digest and featured Moroccan-inspired interiors with vivid colors and a variety of furniture.
Their son Jaden Smith has lived in the ranch-style mansion they’ve owned in Hidden Hills since 2003. For $3.1 million last year, Willow Smith purchased a modern home in the Malibu hills. The family also owns a nearly 10,000-square-foot ski chalet in Park City, Utah, a winter resort community. They also own properties in Woodland Hills, California, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
