Wade Robson, a man who alleges that he experienced abuse from Michael Jackson when he was just seven years old, is scheduled to have his day in court regarding these accusations. The California Court of Appeal has given approval for Robson’s lawsuit against MJJ Productions, Inc., the corporation owned by the late singer.
According to TMZ, the alleged incidents of molestation took place between the ages of seven and 14 at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. In a previous 2021 trial in Los Angeles County, the case was dismissed. However, the Court of Appeal has now issued a tentative ruling that the case should proceed to trial.
Previously, Judge Mark A. Young stated that the companies accused by Robson of enabling the alleged abuse, including MJJ Ventures, had no control over Jackson, as he had complete ownership of them. MJJ Productions’ lawyers have also argued that the company had no legal obligation to protect Robson or others, as they lacked control over Jackson.
Robson’s attorney, Vince Finaldi, expressed his intention to appeal the decision. He revealed that Robson had relocated from Australia to the United States as a child and had crossed paths with Jackson at the age of five.

Wade Robson appeared in the 2019 documentary “Leaving Neverland,” where he and James Safechuck, whose case was also dismissed in 2021, detailed the alleged abuse they claimed to have endured.
The Michael Jackson estate dismissed the film as a “lurid production” and an attempt to exploit and profit from the singer. In 2003, Jackson was arrested and indicted on ten charges, including lewd conduct with a minor, conspiracy to commit child abduction, false imprisonment, and extortion involving a different minor. However, in early 2005, he was acquitted of all charges in court.
During the trial, Robson initially stated that he had shared a bed with Jackson but nothing inappropriate had occurred between them. However, he later changed his account in 2013, filing a lawsuit against Jackson’s company. The choreographer claimed that he had testified falsely on Jackson’s behalf due to manipulation and brainwashing, as reported by TMZ.
