Tyrese Claims Ex-Wife & ‘Blood-Sucking Lawyers’ Are Demanding an Increase in Child Support from $20,000 to $40,000 a Month

Tyrese Gibson has spoken out about his bitter dispute with ex-wife Samantha Lee over child support payments for their five-year-old daughter.

The actor and musician, 43, claims he is already paying a staggering $20,000 a month and has slammed Lee’s demands for an increase to $40,000 as ‘unjustified’.

Gibson, who starred in the Fast and Furious franchise, shared in a recent video: ‘I’m stressed out, man. I don’t know how much more I can take.’

Lee, 34, who earns around $150,000 a year from social media, claims the funds are needed ‘for what the baby needs’.

But Gibson hit back: ‘$20,000 isn’t child support. I don’t know what that is, but it’s not child support..They’ve been looking at all my movies, concerts, and shows, and they’re over there like blood-sucking lawyers rubbing their hands. And they’re hoping that I’ll do more concerts, shows, and movies so that they can get to the bottom of what actual money is in my bank accounts. This is a dirty game out here.”

The couple’s dispute has raised questions about the fairness of child support payments when both parents have significant incomes.

Gibson and Lee split in 2020 after five years of marriage.

The outcome of Gibson’s request remains to be seen, but his comments shed light on the challenges and stresses that can come with co-parenting and financial disputes.
